The hat is a traditional Austrian staple and it is a mandatory part of Trachtenmode - Alpine folk fashion. The hat was made by the famous milliner J. Pichler from Graz, Styria's capital in the south of Austria.
The hat is made out of felted wool and universally sized. It is decorated with a black band.
