Beautiful Vintage Hand Sewn Wool Needlepoint Pillow Pink Ruffles Floral Motif.
This is a beautiful piece!! The pillow measures 14x14 with an additional 3-inch ruffle going around the perimeter of the pillow. The lady that made this was an 85 year old woman who recently passed away. Her hobby was needlepoint, and she had numerous pillows in her house she had made over the years. Her husband died 4 years ago, and she had no family or children of her own to pass these works of art down to. I am hoping this finds a good home. There looks to be a few missing stitches towards the bottom edge of the needlework (see last picture of a close-up). The pink fabric is a thick pink satin or brocade?…not sure. The zipper works perfectly. The pillow is tight and full. This lady had this piece professionally sewn into a pillow cover. It is very beautiful! From a smoke free home. I combine shipping.
