Vintage Handcrafted Wood Knitting Needles, U.S. Size 13
These are great needles for making scarves with the heavily textured eyelash-type yarns available today. I made a number of items with them, but was forced to convert to circular needles, so I reluctantly have to part with them. They are vintage, they were purchased sometime in the late 1980's. I cannot vouch for the wood type, but they are a very smooth, not too heavy They are handmade, purchased at a local yarn shop. The size was handwritten on shaft near the top and is still visible. They show very little wear, the points are not worn or damaged. The total length of each needle is approximately 14 1/4 inches, with a working length of 13 1/2 inches. The stops are about 1/2 inch.
