    Description

    Post Civil War U.S. Model 1860 Staff and Field Officers' Sword measuring 31-1/4" overall with a blade length of 25-3/4". Tip may be a bit blunted, Sword shows age patina, wear, use, plain blade with no maker's marks. Blade edge is very good, no chips, etc. with much finish still remaining.   Wire wrap is loose with most of the leather grip intact with some light loss around the ends.  The knuckle bow/quillon has some looseness. The three ring scabbard is dent free with a brown patina throughout.  See photos for further details, clarification, and condition.
